Association
The Association
The association was founded in 2012 by three friends who wanted to organise esport viewing events at the bar known then as the Launch Bar. Since then, the association has grown into a community of a few hundred people, which plays an important role in the local and national talks about electronic sports.
The easiest way to get involved is to become a member and then an official, who helps us organise various events. And if you have the enthusiasm to do more and make a tangible difference to what the association does, you can apply to join the board at the annual meeting, which is held in late autumn each year.

Strategy
During the 2017-2018 period, a strategy was created for the club to develop its activities until 2022. One of the main objectives of the strategy is to create continuity in the club’s activities due to the turnover of the Board of Directors and to continue to act as a trendsetter.
The association’s values are: localism, member-orientation and originality. Through our values we aim to support and develop electronic sports in the Central Finland region.
There are many things that can be taken from the strategy, but the most important ones are the development of the association’s own activities to the point where we can support and grow players towards professionalism. And to influence the decision-makers of the city of Jyväskylä and other actors to build a centre of excellence here that serves both the residents of the surrounding areas and the top players in Finland.
